Accessibility
A Real Gem recognises the importance of providing a website that is accessible to all user groups, including the disabled.
The following features improve the accessibility of the site for all users:
- Coding meets that standard of XHTML 1.0 and fully validates with guidelines of the W3C.
- All CSS used on the site validates within the guidelines of the W3C.
- The site follows the guidelines of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) of 1995.
- All images on the site have descriptive alternate text tags.
- The site meets the standards required by the Watchfire checker.
